Arburg Celebrates in Typically Mexican Style
- Fantastic: Around 200 enthusiastic guests at Arburg Mexico’s event in Querétaro
- Prestigious: Visit from Partner Juliane Hehl and Managing Director uido Frohnaus
- Pioneering: Hybrid Allrounder 470 H milestone machine
Arburg Mexico’s celebration of 100 years of the Hehl family company in Querétaro on 22 June 2023 met with a lively response. The 200 or so guests included valued customers, long-standing partners and dedicated employees, as well as senior representatives from the company’s German headquarters. The VIP event created a perfect link between Mexican culture and Arburg’s global success.
Juliane Hehl, Managing Partner & Managing Director Marketing & Business Development, and Guido Frohnhaus, Managing Director Technology & Engineering, came from the parent company in Lossburg to attend the anniversary event in Querétaro in person. In doing so, they also expressed the family company’s solidarity with customers and employees all over the world, as well as the high value placed on Arburg Mexico.
Thanks to loyal customers and partners
Guillermo Fasterling, Managing Director of Arburg Mexico, gave the guests a warm welcome. His welcoming message was not only dedicated to this moment of celebration, but was also an expression of deep appreciation for all those who have been involved in Arburg’s success story in Mexico. In her speech, Juliane Hehl highlighted the company’s remarkable growth and achievements over the past century, noting that: “Arburg has risen through the decades to become one of the most respected machine manufacturers in the global plastics industry. 100 years of entrepreneurship are undoubtedly proof of the success of our long-term market strategy, quality and sustainability.” She described the history of the family company as characterised by inventiveness and daring, flashes of inspiration and business ideas, evolutionary developments and disruptive leaps, people and technology, regional ties and global growth. “But besides all the technology, people have always played a central role in the company’s history,” Juliane Hehl emphasised. “Without our customers, partners and employees, this unique success story would not have been possible.”
Guido Frohnhaus unveils anniversary Allrounder
Another highlight of the evening was the lively presentation of the milestone machine – a hybrid Allrounder 470 H in the Premium performance variant – by Guido Frohnhaus, during which he impressed the guests with Arburg’s pioneering technical vision. “Our new Allrounder 470 H now saves even more energy and resources, and is even more production-efficient, user-friendly and reliable. So this is a completely new machine with many technical highlights that are only available from Arburg.”
Performance for the “Day of the Dead”
Finally, the event at the “Valentina & Piedra” venue took on a folkloric flavour with a performance for the “Day of the Dead” (Dia de los Muertos), immersing guests in the rich traditions and colourful heritage of Mexican culture. It was a tribute to Mexico’s roots and underlined the company’s appreciation of cultural diversity and global cooperation. The evening ended in style with music from a mariachi band. The next day, a brunch for staff and their families was followed by games for the children.
